Beautiful celestial locket from the brand Bliss Brothers Company.
Bliss Brothers Company (often marked as Bliss Bros. or BB Co.) was an American jewelry manufacturer based in Attleboro, Massachusetts, active from 1873 to the 1950s. The company was known for producing high-quality gold-filled and sterling silver jewelry, including Victorian and Edwardian style lockets, pendants, and personal accessories like compacts and mesh purses.
The locket front features 6 clear rhinestones in star inlays and a decorative floral frame in repoussé. The back is textured with vertical thin lines. The bale has a matching repoussé ornate design.
Details:
The locket dates from the 1900s. It is stamped inside with the inscription 1/ 20 10k which refers to the gold filled material, and with the logo of the Bliss Brothers Company.
Condition:
It is in very good antique condition with gentle surface wear, patina and scratches. There is no dent that I can see. It closes tightly with a snap. Inside the two original rings are present.
The locket comes with the new gold plated chain featured in the photos. It is not removable unless bending the bale.
