Stunning Antique draperie necklace in solid 18k Gold.
The necklace is French and a signature Art Nouveau piece.
It consists of 5 triangle links of gradually increasing size toward the center. The triangles are adorned with twisted and swirly gold wires. A twisted drop hangs from each of them. The rest of the chain is made of long links with a twisted rope detail inside each of them.
The chain is a wonder of craftsmanship, made at a time when mass production wasn't a topic and when investing hours of hand-making into a single piece was the norm.

The chain dates from 1900s, Art Nouveau era, and is a typical French design. It is stamped with the Eagle French hallmark for 18k gold near the clasp. The stamp is repeated multiple times, please check the zoomed-in photos.

It is in excellent antique condition, with no flaw to note.
