Victorian English Locket with purple stones and seed pearls.
The facets are concave at the back and the front, with a fancy 3D structured frame.
At the front seed pearls are arranged in a whirlwind pattern and completed with purple stones. At the center a symbol is hand-carved, it could be the monogram AMO but I would leave it up to interpretation.
The back is plain.
Details:
The locket is not stamped but tests as 9ct back and front, which is the classical construction for Victorian English lockets.
Condition:
It is in very good antique condition, with some gentle surface wear and scratches. It closes tightly with a snap. Inside the two original photo frames are present.
Measurements:
-Locket diameter: 26mm / 1"
