Very pretty Victorian Daisy Ring in 20k gold.
The ring features a central blue Sapphire surrounded by nine clear ones. The gold carat 20k is quite unusual, so is a ring of this age, 1876 according to the year letter X5 from the Swedish hallmark system.
It would make a romantic engagement ring.
Details:
This ring dates from the late 1800s, Victorian era. It is fully hallmarked with Swedish assay, including the gold purity stamp "20k", the three crown, the maker mark, and the year letter X5 for 1876.
The stones test as Sapphires with a Presidium tester. It is a question if the band is from 1876 and the Daisy cluster was added later, possibly with synthetic Sapphires. Synthetic Sapphires weren't available in 1876 so if the Daisy part would be that old too, then the Sapphires necessarily would be natural. That is unknown.
Condition:
The ring is in excellent antique condition with no flaw that I can see.
