Romantic solid 18k gold French Heart Locket.
The front facet features a branch of lily of the valley, with four bell flowers adorned with a seed pearl each. The leaves are enhanced with layers of rose and green gold, a lovely detail rarely found in non-Antique pieces :-)
Details:
The locket is stamped with the eagle head at the edge of the back facet inside (see photo), the French mark for 18-carat gold. This indicates the material is 75% gold.
Condition:
It is in very good antique condition, with some gentle surface wear, patina and scratches. It closes tightly with a snap.
The locket comes with a new 18" gold filled chain that is stamped 1/20 14k GF at the clasp.
