One-of-kind Art Nouveau locket with a repoussé design adorned by clear rhinestones.
Two stems full of leaves and held by a ribbon are depicted with a linear symmetry with respect to a vertical axis. Rhinestones are added on a curve that follows the branches move and seem to be springing from the bottom ribbon like water jets. At the back the monogram "FA" is hand-carved.
Details:
The locket is dates from the 1900s, Art Nouveau era. It is not stamped and I believe made of gold filled.
Condition:
It is in excellent antique condition, with no flaw to note. It closes tightly with a snap. Inside the two original rings are present, ready to hold your photos.
This listing is for the locket alone without a chain.
