Swedish 18k Gold Ring from the 50s.
A blue spinel, faceted on the back side, and polished at the front side, is bezel-set in a signet-style mount.
The mount is elegant with a smooth surface all around.

Sweden is famous for its modernist jewelry style in the 50s. That ring is an example of Scandinavian modernist design.

Details:
The ring was manufactured in 1959. It can be accurately defined thanks to the year letter "I9" stamped inside the shank. I9 corresponds to 1959 in the Swedish hallmark system. It also bears the maker mark, the Swedish three crowns, and the gold purity stamp "18k".

Condition:
The ring is in very good vintage condition, with gentle surface wear and scratches to the gold setting, please inspect the photos.
