Statement Swedish ring with a large, spectacular natural faceted clear quartz.
Sweden is famous for its modernist jewelry style in the 50s. That ring is a beautiful example of Scandinavian modernist design.
The quartz has a rectangular emerald cut and is held with four prongs. Lovely ornate shoulders on both side of the stone extending along the shank. The light play in the stone on its own is a statement. It feels like it glows from within, with a radiant and white brilliance.
In crystal healing, clear quartz is believed to amplify energy, thoughts, and the effects of other crystals. It's often considered a master healer, used to balance and align the body's energy.

The ring was manufactured in Sweden. Inside the shank one can find several stamps including the maker mark "GD & C", the Swedish three crowns hallmark, the gold purity stamp "18k", and the year letter D9. D9 corresponds to 1954 in the Swedish hallmark system.
Condition:
The ring is in very good vintage condition, with gentle surface wear. Please inspect the photos.
